Light Up Landmarks

Thank you for supporting our #FTAWLightUp campaign!

Photos contributed by: Burnie City Council, City of Unley, City of Wagga Wagga, Crowne Plaza Hobart, Forbes Shire Council, Jacqueline, Mackay Regional Council, Neville Bonner Bridge, Oamaru Opera House, planHELP, PQ Tasmania Healthcare Supplies, Queensland Parliament, Sarah G, Sarah V, The Bell Tower.

#FTAWLightUp Campaign

  • Feeding Tube Awareness Week was marked nationally, 1-7 February 2026. In celebration, we lit up landmarks across Australia and New Zealand in purple and blue! Some landmarks illuminated for one night only, while others shined for part or all of the week and in some cases, the week following.

  • The more landmarks turning purple and blue, the more people we can reach and get talking about tube feeding! Please get in touch if you can help us light up more places next year (including landmarks in your local area)!

  • If you can visit a participating landmark, take a photo (safely) and share it on social media using #FTAWLightUp, #TubieTuesday, and #FTAW2026 and please tag ausEE Inc. in your posts to help shine the light on tube feeding.

Why purple and blue?

Purple is a common colour of feeding tube supplies, while blue represents what flows through the tube — whether that’s formula, blends, breastmilk or water.

Locations lighting up for tube feeding

These landmarks, buildings, and bridges are lighting up in purple and blue — or purple only where a single colour is possible. Please note that these sites are subject to change due to other events or technical issues. ausEE thanks all the participating landmarks for generously illuminating their sites free of charge to help raise awareness and show support for people who tube feed.
